Our Environmental Transition

Putting the environment at the heart of every decision
Since La Rosée was founded in 2015, we have been committed to creating cosmetics that are more responsible, more essential and more conscious. Natural, healthy formulas, eco-designed packaging, short supply chains, and complete transparency: every decision has been guided by a strong commitment to reducing our impact, without ever compromising the effectiveness or sensory experience of our products. But today, reducing is no longer enough.
Faced with planetary boundaries being exceeded and climate change accelerating, we have chosen to go even further: to actively take part in the ecological transition, to contribute to regenerative models, and to bring along with us our teams, our pharmacy partners, you our customers, and our entire ecosystem.
2024 marked a decisive step for La Rosée. We obtained B Corp certification, recognizing our overall approach as an impact-driven company, and we wrote an ambitious roadmap after taking part in the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC). Our goal: to rethink our model in depth.
Our Manifesto
At La Rosée, our mission is to care for every skin. We reinvent everyday essentials for skin care and baby care – simple, effective, and responsible, without compromising on sensorial experience. We believe healthy skin starts with simple gestures, expert formulations, and deep respect for life and the planet. Our roots in pharmacy and French manufacturing guarantee quality and trust.
But we didn't want to stop there. Aware of planetary limits, we've chosen to go further, because one thing is clear: simply reducing our impact is no longer enough. We understand the full scope of our duty as a company, our responsibility as human beings, and the need to shift our perspective.
La Rosée is a force in motion. Transformation must be collective – we aim to challenge our partners' standards and inspire our consumers to adopt new habits. Together, by transforming our industry, we can turn this utopia into reality: giving back to the planet what we take from it.
This requires boldness. We'll continue to innovate, educate, connect, perform, make difficult choices, and bring others along – while always staying coherent. We're committed to doing this with sincerity and authenticity. Faced with the demands of our promise, we move forward with optimism and determination.
Our dream? To become a catalyst for transformation in the cosmetics industry.
We are unstoppable.

Our B Corp Certification
La Rosée is B Corp certified—, a distinction that recognizes companies meeting high standards of social, societal and environmental impact.
From the choice of our raw materials, to our production sites in France, to our logistics partner, our communication campaigns and our internal organization, our entire value chain was audited in depth to obtain this demanding certification.
- to a company where people are at the heart of every decision,
- to more responsible production, in close collaboration with our partners,
- to products that combine rigor, effectiveness and environmental awareness,
- to a lasting relationship of trust with our customers,
- and to an adventure carried forward every day by the energy of our teams.
B Corp is not a destination, it's a compass: a valuable tool for assessing our actions while staying the course toward our true ambition — to keep progressing, endlessly, and explore new paths.
The Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC)
IIn 2024, we took part in the Convention des Entreprises pour le Climat (CEC), a highly demanding collective French programme that brings together business leaders committed to taking part in the ecological transition.
Step by step, we built an ambitious roadmap to evolve our products and our business model, in order to become a regenerative company — meaning one that actively contributes to repairing and restoring natural ecosystems.
In 2025, we chose to share our environmental ambitions on the CEC platform, making our commitment public. To succeed in becoming a regenerative company, we're mobilizing all of our employees, our partner pharmacies, our suppliers, and you, reading this!
We now have a clear direction for what La Rosée will be in 10 years: an impact-driven cosmetics company that designs regenerative products, brings its entire ecosystem along in reducing its footprint, and places cooperation at the heart of its model.
Our Key Objectives

- Every new product, in addition to being a skincare essential, will be an innovation for the market — or, at the very least, equivalent to the best innovative product currently available in French pharmacies.
- Every reformulated product will outperform its previous version according to our LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) tool, to ensure its environmental impact decreases.
- We favor multi-use products to reduce the number of products needed and keep our range streamlined.
- We are removing ingredients sourced from supply chains with a high ecological impact, such as those linked to deforestation or heavy water consumption.
- We train our teams on environmental issues so they can educate and raise awareness among all our partners. By 2026, 100% of our employees will have an objective tied to our transition.
- 50% of our sales will come from refills or solid formats, to limit waste.
- We will begin rolling out triple capital accounting: beyond traditional financial indicators, we will integrate environmental and social indicators. In concrete terms, we will measure not only our economic performance, but also our impact on the planet and on people. This approach will allow us to better recognize the value of the decisions we make today — decisions that may involve higher short-term costs, but that are more sustainable for the environment and for people in the long term.
- 50% of our range will contain upcycled or regenerative ingredients.
- Complete elimination of virgin fossil-based plastic from our packaging.
- Our entire range will be solid, refillable or returnable!
Life Cycle Assessments
We carry out Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) of our products. This is a method that measures their overall environmental impact, taking into account every stage of their life: from the production of raw materials (ingredients, packaging) through to the manufacturing and packaging of the product. The LCA also accounts for transport (suppliers, factory, distribution), then looks at the consumer use phase — for example, the water needed to rinse off a wash-off product. Finally, it evaluates end-of-life: recycling, incineration or landfill of the packaging.
The goal is to identify where the main impacts lie (climate, water, resources, pollution), so we know where to act as a priority to reduce the product's footprint. As part of our CEC roadmap, we committed to ensuring that every reworked product outperforms its previous version, according to our product scoring tool. From now on, for every reformulation or new product launch, we make sure the environmental impact is fully under control.
