Our story

La Rosée is, first and foremost, a great story of friendship.
We met on the benches of the Lyon Pharmacy School and quickly became friends. It was at the pharmacy counter that we made the same observation:
There was a lack of simple, hydrating skincare in pharmacies-products that were respectful of the skin and the planet.
Guided by our shared entrepreneurial spirit, we set out to create a committed cosmetics brand that embraces strong values, a concise range that gets back to what’s essential: hydration, the secret of beautiful skin.
We worked tirelessly to find the perfect balance between naturalness and effectiveness, while ensuring a delightful sensory experience with enjoyable textures and irresistible scents. We wanted to create a brand at the intersection of dermatology and cosmetology, combining the best of both worlds.
Nothing has been easy in this quest for excellence: maximizing the natural ingredients and biodegradability of our formulas, reinventing solid cosmetics, eliminating excess packaging, finding alternatives to petrochemical-based plastics, reducing our environmental impact as much as possible, and offsetting our carbon footprint wherever possible.
But we were convinced that everything was possible. We built this ideal day by day, starting with the most important: our customers! We let them test our products. We asked, surveyed and observed them, until we reached the perfect balance for their sensitive skin.
That's how La Rosée was created in 2015!

As mothers, we took on a new challenge.

Design a range of products that we would want to apply to our own children.
We wanted safe, gentle care that respects babies; extremely sensitive skin. Indeed, the skin of a newborn is not developed and tends to be dry, reactive, and very delicate.
Therefore, babies need a very simple routine with gentle products to respect their fragile hydrolipidic balance. That’s why we developed the essential products for baby care: pediatrician-tested and formulated according to a strict charter that excludes hundreds of controversial ingredients. Our gentle care is designed to ensure the highest tolerance and safety for your baby’s delicate skin, with simplified formulas that feature proven, effective ingredients for maximum confidence, and a special touch—soft textures and irresistible scents.

La Rosée is B Corp certified
In October 2024, we achieved B Corp certification.
This certification recognizes companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
Being B Corp certified demonstrates our commitment to always putting our social and environmental impact at the core of all our decisions.
To obtain certification, we were evaluated against strict criteria, measuring our overall impact in five key areas: governance, workers, environment, community, and customers.
